WBS helping produce visors

(Posted on 23/04/20)

Following a request from the NHS in Staffordshire, our Product Design teacher Mr Colburn has set up a production line to make protective visors for them

Using students in school, our laser cutter and 3D printer, we assembled the first batch of 30 visors yesterday, 22 April 2020.

Now that more materials have come into school today we are hoping to make a further seventy before the weekend.

We distributed a trial batch to three local Care homes: The Wheatlands (Much Wenlock) and Lady Forrester (MW and Broseley).

The images show the excellent visors and some of the students, with Mr Colburn, who helped to manufacture them before distribution.
