School Closure UPDATE 10/5/19

Apologies but school will be closed again to students from Y8-10 on Friday 10th May. Only Y13, 12, 11 and 7 will be in school.The reason being that contractors will be on site to begin clean-up operations and a part of the school remains out of use while this takes place. School Partially Closed 8/5/19

Apologies but school will be closed to students from Y8-10 and Y12 tomorrow (08/05/19). Only Y13, 11 and 7 will be in school.The reason being that there has been a small but contained fire at school tonight. The sprinkler system worked to prevent further damage but part of the school will be out of use while the area dries.We will update parents tomorrow when we will know more about how long the rooms will be out of action. Year 9 Maths Challenge

Amazing Netball Achievements

For our Year 7 netball team, we have managed to reach the Plate competition semis and finals and on three occasions have won the Plate title. This year the girls have gone one better, winning all but two plates!The Year 10 netball team participated in their county tournament last week. Last Friday, 10 students were presented with their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award certificate and badge.  The students have worked very hard to achieve this award by volunteering their time, learning new skills and doing regular physical activity, as well as completing a expedition on foot in challenging conditions. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Due the weather forecast we have decided to cancel all PE Clubs and after-school revision sessions tomorrow (Tuesday 29th January 2019). There will also be no after-school homework club. As it stands the four fixtures - Y10 Football, Y7/8/10 Netball, Y7 Basketball and the U14 County Badminton will go ahead.
